One simple tip that most people doing their own nail art at home is that you can dry your nails quicker by dipping them in ice water for a total of three minutes.

Fishnet designs don't have to be time consuming! You can get the same look by taping a layer of loofa fabric or other mesh fabric onto your nails and then painting them.

Creating your own nail tools when you can to save time and money. For example, you can create a dotting tool at home with things laying around the house. Find a wooden pencil with an eraser that hasn't been used. Push the needle point of a pushpin into the eraser and voila. You can use the rounded ball of the pin as a dotting tool.

 This glossy design is perfect for the holidays. Make sure to pick super shiny polish to pair with a metallic color.

 To get this effect paint your nails black. Add white polka dots with the tip of a brush. Paint a thick black nail tip. Paint another nail tip over the black, leaving a line.
 This is one of my favorites because it is so simple and easy to do. Paint your nails all one color (matte preferably) and then paint horizontal lines with a toothpick with a metallic paint on the index finger.

 I think this manicure is adorable. I love glittery nail polish.
